WAYS TO SUPPORT THE MUSEUM
We are committed to providing you a wide variety of convenient ways for you to maximize your tax-deductible gift to honor the men and women who serve, and the heritage and history of the U.S. Coast Guard.
donor advised funds
What is a donor-advised fund? A donor-advised fund (DAF) provides donors with a centralized charitable giving vehicle. It allows philanthropically inclined individuals, families, and corporations to make an irrevocable charitable gift to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program and take an immediate tax deduction.
If you already have a DAF, use this free and easy application to initiate a grant to the National Coast Guard Museum Association.
For more information about Donor Advised Funds, please contact Catherine Janney at cjanney@coastguardmuseum.org or 860-443-4200.

Utilize appreciated assets instead of cash on hand and experience significant tax savings. To make this process as simple as possible, the Museum has invested in a partnership with FreeWill and this secure online tool that guides you through the process of donating stock in about 10 minutes. Contact Catherine Janney at cjanney@coastguardmuseum.org or 860-443-4200 for instructions on how to transfer stock and securities from your brokerage or investment account.

These gifts reduce your future tax burden, can satisfy a Required Minimum Distribution, and come with other financial benefits.
