Project Snapshot

Once built, the first-ever National Coast Guard Museum will educate, engage and inspire visitors, showing how the men and women of USCG have faithfully served our Nation since 1790 and how they continue to use state-of-the-art technology to protect our waterways, environment, and commerce.

Path to Success

The National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc., (NCGMA), a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will raise more than $50 million from private sources and coordinate the use of $30 million in Federal and $20 million in State of Connecticut funding. Once established, the fully operational Museum will be gifted to the USCG. For gift inquiries, contact Danielle Degnan, Chief Development Officer. To learn more about the NCGMA, click here.
